حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ الطَّائِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلَا تَصُفُّونَ كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ؟» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَكَيْفَ تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمِ؟ قَالَ «يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْمُقَدَّمَةَ وَيَتَرَاصُّونَ فِي الصَّفِّ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Will you not form rows as the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord?” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, how do the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord?” He said: “They complete the foremost rows and stand close together in the row.”
