حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الطَّائِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلَا تَصُفُّونَ خَلْفِي كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ؟» قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ؟ قَالَ «يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْمُقَدَّمَةَ وَيَتَرَاصُّونَ فِي الصَّفِّ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Will you not form rows behind me as the angels form rows before their Lord?” They said: How do the angels form rows before their Lord? He said: “They complete the first rows and stand close together in the row.”
