✧ Mihraan, the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and there were disputes regarding his name, some said Kaysan or Hurmuz, but the correct name to me is Mihraan, because al-Thawri was more accurate in narrating it.

✧ I entered upon Umm Kulthum bt. Ali with something from the charity, and she said: A freed slave of ours called Kaysan or Hurmuz informed me that he passed by the Prophet ﷺ. He said: He called me, so I came, and he said: "O so-and-so, we are a household forbidden from taking charity, and the freed slave of a people is from themselves, so do not consume charity."
