حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ الْحَوْطِيَّانِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ثنا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ الْمِقْدَامَ بْنَ مَعْدِي كَرِبٍ يَقُولُ «أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِوَضُوءٍ» فَتَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرِهِمَا وَبَاطِنِهِمَا وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا

✧ I heard al-Miqdam b. Ma'di Karib say: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought water for ablution.” He performed ablution, washing his palms three times, then washing his face three times, then washing his forearms three times, then rinsing his mouth and sniffing water into his nose three times each, then wiping his head and his ears, their outer and inner parts, and washing his feet three times each.
