حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيْعَةً فَإِلَيَّ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ وَأَنَا مَوْلَى مَنْ لَا مَوْلَى لَهُ أَفُكُّ عَانَهُ وَأَرِثُ مَالَهُ»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "Whoever leaves behind a debt or dependents, they are my responsibility, and whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for his heirs. I am the guardian of the one who has no guardian: I ransom his prisoner and inherit his wealth."
