حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ وَجَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ حَقٌّ فَإِنْ أَصْبَحَ بِفِنَائِهِ فَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَاهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The night of the guest is an obligatory right. If he remains in his courtyard in the morning, then it is a debt upon him: if he wishes, he may collect it, and if he wishes, he may forgo it."
