حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عِيَاضٌ أَبُو خَالِدٍ قَالَ

كَانَ بَيْنَ جَارَيْنِ لِي يَمِينٌ فَصَارَتِ الْيَمِينُ عَلَى أَحَدِهِمَا فَسَمِعْتُ مَعْقِلَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ يَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالَ أَخِيهِ لَقِيَ اللهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ»

✧ There was an oath between two neighbors of mine, and the oath fell upon one of them. Then I heard Maqil b. Yasar say: "The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Whoever swears an oath by which he seizes the property of his brother will meet God while He is angry with him.'"
