حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا افْتَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ أَصَابَ النَّاسُ حُمُرًا فَانْتَهَبُوهَا حَتَّى عَلَتِ الْقُدُورَ فَأَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقِيلَ إِنَّ حُمُرَ النَّاسِ قَدْ نُحِرَتْ «فَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ» فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يَكْفَأُ الْإِنَاءَ بِسُنَّةِ قَوْسِهِ وعَمُودِ بَيْتِهِ

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ conquered Khaybar, the people captured donkeys and plundered them until the cooking pots boiled over. The Messenger of God ﷺ came, and it was said that the people’s donkeys had been slaughtered. The Prophet ﷺ forbade the flesh of domestic donkeys, and a man began to overturn his cooking vessel with the head of his bow or the post of his house.
