حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَنُوبِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْمَدِينَةُ مُهَاجِرِي وَمَضْجَعِي فِي الْأَرْضِ حَقٌّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي أَنْ يُكْرِمُوا جِيرَانِي مَا اجْتَنِبُوا الْكَبَائِرَ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمْ سَقَاهُ اللهُ مِنْ طِينَةِ الْخَبَالِ» قُلْنَا يَا أَبَا يَسَارٍ مَا طِينَةُ الْخَبَالِ؟ قَالَ «عُصَارَةُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Al-Madinah is my place of emigration and my resting place in the earth. It is a duty upon my ummah to honor my neighbors as long as they avoid major sins. Whoever among them does not do that, Allah will give him to drink from the pus of the people of Hell.' We said: 'O Abu Yasar, what is the pus of the people of Hell?' He said: 'The extract of the people of the Fire.'
