حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ أَنَا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ نَصْرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يُحَدِّثُ
عَنْ جَدِّهِ مُعَاذٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَيْمٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَطُوفُ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ مَعَ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ فَقُلْتُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ؟ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي سَاعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

✧ From his grandfather Mu’adh, a man of Banu Taym, that he was circumambulating after ’Asr with Mu’adh b. ’Afra’ and did not pray. I said, “What prevented you from praying?” He said, “The Prophet ﷺ forbade prayer in two hours: after Subh until the sun rises, and after ’Asr until the sun sets.”
