حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ثنا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ
إِنْ كَانَ عُمَرُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ مَا رَأَى فِي يَقَظَتِهِ أَوْ نَوْمِهِ فَإِنَّهُ حَقٌّ وَإِنَّهُ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ رَأَيْتُ فِيهَا دَارًا فَقُلْتُ لِمَنْ هَذِهِ؟ فَقِيلَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ

✧ Umar was indeed among the people of Paradise. Whatever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw in wakefulness or sleep is true. He said, “While I was in Paradise, I saw therein a dwelling and said, ‘For whom is this?’ It was said, ‘For Umar b. al-Khattab.’”
