✧ I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, a man has been afflicted by a woman whom it is not permissible for him to have relations with. He has not left anything that can afflict him from his wife except that it has afflicted him, except that he has not had intercourse with her." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perform ablution well, then stand and pray." Then Allah revealed this verse {Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.} Mu'adh then asked, "Is this for him specifically, O Messenger of Allah, or for all Muslims in general?" He said, "For all Muslims in general."
