حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ التِّرْمِذِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسِ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ ﷻ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I have been commanded to fight people until they say, "There is no god but Allah." If they say it, they protect their blood and property from me, except for what is due, and their reckoning is with Allah ﷻ.'
