حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَةَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَبِيتُ عَلَى ذِكْرِ اللهِ طَاهِرًا فَيَتَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَيَسْأَلَ اللهَ خَيْرًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ» زَادَ مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ فَقَدْ مَرَّ عَلَيْنَا أَبُو ظَبْيَةَ فَحَدَّثَنَا عَنْ مُعَاذٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِهِ

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There is no Muslim who sleeps upon the remembrance of Allah in a state of purity, then awakens during the night and asks Allah for good of this world and the Hereafter except that He grants it to him.” Musa b. Isma‘il added: Hammad said: Abu Zabyah passed by us and narrated to us from Mu‘adh from the Prophet ﷺ something similar.
