حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ قَالَ جَابِرٌ وَأَخْرِجْنِي خَالِي وَأَنَا لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ بِحَجَرٍ

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the night of al-'Aqabah. Jabir said, 'My maternal uncle brought me out, and I could not throw a stone.'
