حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ حَلْبَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلَا إِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ لَا تَحِلُّ لِعَاصٍ وَمَنْ لَقِيَ اللهَ نَاكِثًا لِبَيْعَتِهِ لَقِيَهُ وَهُوَ أَجْذَمُ وَمَنْ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْجَمَاعَةِ قِيدَ شِبْرٍ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَقَدْ خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ وَمَنْ مَاتَ لَيْسَ لِإِمَامِ جَمَاعَةٍ عَلَيْهِ طَاعَةٌ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Verily, Paradise is not lawful for a disobedient person. Whoever meets God having broken his pledge of allegiance will meet Him while maimed. Whoever deliberately departs from the community by a handspan has cast off the yoke of Islam from his neck. Whoever dies without there being an imam of the community over him to whom obedience is due dies a death of ignorance."
