حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالُوا ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْكَاهِلِيُّ عَنْ مِسْوَرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَتَرَكَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَقْرَأْهُ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ «فَهَلَّا أَذْكَرْتَنِيهَا» قَالَ كُنْتُ أُرَاهَا نُسِخَتْ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite in prayer, and he left out something he did not recite. A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, it was such and such.' He said: 'Why did you not remind me of it?' He said: 'I thought it had been abrogated.'
