حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدُ عَنْ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَعَلِمَ أَنَّ نَاسًا قَدْ ذَبَحُوا قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ «مَنْ كَانَ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيُعِدْ ذَبِيحَتَهُ وَمَنْ لَا فَلْيَذْبَحْ عَلَى اسْمِ اللهِ»

✧ I witnessed the Eid with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He learned that people had slaughtered before the prayer, so he addressed the people and said: “Whoever slaughtered before the prayer should repeat his slaughter, and whoever has not should slaughter in the name of Allah.”
