al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 17151
✧ he pointed with his hand towards Sham (Syria) and said: 'Here you will be gathered as riders and pedestrians on your faces on the Day of Judgment, with your mouths filled with dust, and you will outlive seventy nations, you being the last and the most honored to Allah. And indeed, the first thing to be presented of any one of you will be his thigh.'

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الشِّيرَازِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْمُؤَذِّنُ ثنا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ
نَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَاتَ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْمُزَنِيُّ أَتُحِبُّ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَضَرَبَ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ فَلَمْ تَبْقَ شَجَرَةٌ وَلَا أَكَمَةٌ إِلَّا تَضَعْضَعَتْ وَرَفَعَ لَهُ سَرِيرَهُ حَتَّى نَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَخَلْفَهُ صَفَّانِ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ فِي كُلِّ صَفٍّ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِجِبْرِيلَ «يَا جِبْرِيلُ مَا بَلَّغَ هَذَا هَذِهِ الْمَنْزِلَةَ مِنَ اللهِ؟» قَالَ بِحُبِّهِ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ وَقِرَاءَتِهِ إِيَّاهَا جَائِيًا وَذَاهِبًا وَقَائِمًا وَقَاعِدًا وَعَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ

✧ Gabriel ﷺ descended upon the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Muhammad, Mu'awiyah b. Mu'awiyah al-Muzani has died. Would you like to pray over him?' He said, 'Yes.' Then he struck with his wings, and no tree or hill remained but that it lowered itself, and his bier was raised for him until he saw it, and he prayed over him. Behind him were two rows of angels, in each row seventy thousand. The Prophet ﷺ said to Gabriel, 'O Gabriel, what made him reach this station with Allah?' He said, 'His love for "Say: He is Allah, the One," and his recitation of it coming and going, standing and sitting, and in every state.'
