حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا عَدِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَنْتُمْ تُوفُونَ سَبْعِينَ أُمَّةً أَنْتُمْ خَيْرُهَا وَأَكْرَمُهَا عَلَى اللهِ ﷻ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. al-Miqdām b. Dāwud
  2. Asad b. Mūsá
  3. ʿAdī b. al-Faḍl
  4. Bahz b. Ḥakīm from his father from his grandfather

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “You complete seventy nations; you are the best of them and the most honored of them in the sight of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted.”
