حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَسْأَلُ أَحَدٌ مَوْلًى مِنْ فَضْلٍ هُوَ عِنْدَهُ فَيَمْنَعَهُ إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَضْلُهُ الَّذِي مَعَهُ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ»

Translation

Chain of narrators

  4. Bahz b. Ḥakīm from his father from his grandfather

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “No one asks a master for surplus that he has and withholds it, except that his surplus which he has will come on the Day of Resurrection as a bald-headed snake.”
