حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا أَنَا مُبَلِّغٌ وَاللهُ يَهْدِي وَقَاسِمٌ وَاللهُ يُعْطِي فَمَنْ بَلَغَهُ عَنِّي شَيْءٌ بِحُسْنِ هَدْيٍ وَحُسْنِ رَغْبَةٍ فَذَاكَ الَّذِي يُبَارَكُ لَهُ فِيهِ وَمَنْ بَلَغَهُ عَنِّي شَيْءٌ بِسُوءِ رَغْبَةٍ وَسُوءِ هَدْيٍ فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَأْكُلُ وَلَا يَشْبَعُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am only a deliverer (of the message), while Allah guides and divides, and Allah gives. So whoever receives from me something with good guidance and good desire, then that is the one who is blessed in it. And whoever receives from me something with bad desire and bad guidance, then that is the one who eats but does not feel satisfied."
