حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ الصُّنَابِحِيّ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْ الْغُلُوطَاتِ» قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ وَثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ «وَالْغُلُوطَاتُ صُعَابِ الْمَسَائِلِ وَشِدَادُهَا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ forbade difficult and obscure questions. Ishaq said: Rawh b. ‘Ubada narrated to us from al-Awza’i who said: “Al-ghulutat are the hard and severe questions.”
