حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكَّارٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الثَّقَفِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ
«أَنَّهُ أَرَاهُمْ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَسْحَ رَأْسِهِ وَضَعَ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَى مُقَدَّمِ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِهِمَا حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْقَفَا ثُمَّ رَدَّهُمَا حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْمَكَانَ الَّذِي مِنْهُ بَدَأَ» قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زَبْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَزْهَرِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بِذَلِكَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
Translation

✧ He showed them the ablution of the Messenger of God ﷺ. When he reached the wiping of his head, he placed his palms on the front of his head, then passed them until he reached the back of the neck, then returned them until he reached the place from which he began. Al-Walid said: And ‘Abdullah b. al-‘Ala’ b. Zabr reported to me from Abu al-Azhar from Mu’awiya likewise, and Hariz b. ‘Uthman reported to me from ‘Abd al-Rahman b. Maysara from al-Miqdam b. Ma’dikarib from the Messenger of God ﷺ the like of it.
