حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ رَبٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُغْلَبُ وَلَا يُخْلَبُ وَلَا يُنَبَّأُ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ يُرِدِ اللهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ»

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “God is not overcome, nor deceived, nor informed of what He does not know. Whomever God intends good for, He grants him understanding in the religion.”
