حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الرِّيَاشِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَا ثنا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ

«مَنْ يُرِدِ اللهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ وَإِنَّ هَذَا الْمَالَ خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ يَأْخُذُهُ بِحَقِّهِ يُبَارَكْ لَهُ فِيهِ» ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «سَمِعْتُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَإِنَّ السَّامِعَ الْمُطِيعَ لَا حُجَّةَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّ السَّامِعَ الْعَاصِيَ لَا حُجَّةَ لَهُ»

✧ �Whomever Allah intends good for, He gives him understanding in religion. This wealth is green and sweet. Whoever takes it by right will be blessed in it.� Then he said: �I heard these words from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the pulpit. The listener who obeys has no argument against him, and the listener who disobeys has no argument for him.�
