✧ Malik b. Buhaynah al-Azdi Abu Abdullah "and Buhaynah his mother, and she is Buhaynah bt. al-Harith b. al-Muttalib b. Abd Manaf, the sister of Ubaydah b. al-Harith, and he is Malik b. Saeed b. al-Qishb from Azd Shanuah.

حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْمُقْرِئُ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ يُصَلِّي وَقَدْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَكَلَّمَهُ بِشَيْءٍ لَا أَدْرِي مَا هُوَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفْنَا أَحَطْنَا بِهِ نَقُولُ مَاذَا قَالَ لَكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ قَالَ «يُوشِكُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ أَرْبَعًا»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by a man praying when the prayer had already been commenced. He spoke to him something I do not know what it was. When we finished, we surrounded him saying, "What did the Messenger of God ﷺ say to you?" He said: "He said: 'It is likely that he will pray the morning prayer as four [rakʿahs].'"
