حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ قَالَ

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ فَأَقَمْنَا مَعَهُ نَحْوًا مِنْ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً أَوْ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنْ رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَى أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ قَالَ بِلَادِكُمْ عَلِّمُوهُمْ» قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَحِيمًا «مُرُوهُمْ فَلْيُصَلُّوا صَلَاةَ كَذَا فِي حِينِ كَذَا وَصَلَاةَ كَذَا فِي حِينِ كَذَا فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ لِيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ عَارِمٍ

✧ We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as young men and stayed with him for about twenty nights or days. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us: "When you return to your families," or he said, "to your lands, teach them." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was merciful. "Command them to pray such-and-such a prayer at such-and-such a time, and such-and-such a prayer at such-and-such a time. When the prayer is due, let one of you call the adhan, and let the eldest of you lead the prayer." The wording is that of the hadith of ʿĀrim.
