حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا أَبُو زُهَيْرٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَعَلَيْهِ ثِيَابٌ رَدِيئَةٌ وَهُوَ سَيِّيءُ الْهَيْئَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالٍ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْمَالِ كُلِّهِ قَالَ «فَلْيُرَ عَلَيْكَ مَا رَزَقَكَ اللهُ»

✧ He came to the Prophet ﷺ wearing shabby clothes and was in a poor appearance. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Do you have any wealth?" He said, "Yes, of all kinds of wealth." He said, "Then let what Allah has provided you be seen on you."
