حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ

عَنْ عُرْوَةَ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنَ الْأَوْسِ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ أَبُو الْهَيْثَمِ بْنُ التَّيْهَانِ وَهُوَ نَقِيبٌ وَقَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ بَايَعَ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فِي الْعَقَبَةِ»

✧ From 'Urwa, "In naming those who attended al-'Aqaba from the Ansar, then from the Aws, from Banu 'Abd al-Ashhal: Abu al-Haytham b. al-Tayyihan, and he was a naqib and he attended Badr, and he was the first to pledge allegiance to Islam at al-'Aqaba."
