حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ

عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمِيرَةَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ أَنَّ عَبْدًا جُرَّ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ مِنْ يَوْمِ وُلِدَ إِلَى يَوْمِ يَمُوتُ هَرَمًا فِي طَاعَةِ اللهِ لَحَقَّرَ ذَلِكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَوَدَّ أَنَّهُ يَزْدَادُ كَمَا يَزْدَادُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ وَالثَّوَابِ»

✧ From Muhammad b. Abi 'Amira, who was one of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "If a servant were dragged on his face from the day he was born until the day he dies of old age in obedience to God, he would consider that insignificant on the Day of Resurrection and would wish to increase it just as he wishes to increase reward and recompense."
