حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ مَوْلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ قَالَ
كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِفِنَاءِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ مِنَ التَّشْدِيدِ؟» فَظَلَلْنَا بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِنَا وَلَيْلَتِنَا فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْتُ غَدَوْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ مِنَ التَّشْدِيدِ؟ قَالَ «لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ثُمَّ أُحْيِيَ ثُمَّ قُتِلَ ثم أُحْيِىَ لَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ»

✧ We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ in the courtyard of the mosque. He raised his head to the sky and said, "Glory be to God! What strictness has been sent down?" We remained for the rest of our day and night. When morning came, I went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of God, what strictness has been sent down?" He said, "If a man were killed in the path of God, then brought back to life, then killed, then brought back to life, he would not enter Paradise while he has a debt."
