حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَ

دَنَوْتُ إِلَى قِدْرٍ لِأُمِّي فَأَكْفَأْتُهَا عَلِيَّ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ فَجَلَبَتْنِي أُمِّي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَرَقَانِي فَقَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ» قَالَ فَلَمْ أَحْفَظِ الْكَلِمَاتِ فَسَأَلْتُ أُمِّي عَنْهُنَّ فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي فِي زَمَنِ عُثْمَانَ

✧ I came near a cooking pot belonging to my mother and tipped it over onto myself while I was a boy, and my mother took me to the Prophet ﷺ. He performed ruqya on me and said, "Remove the affliction, Lord of the people, and heal; You are the Healer, there is no healer but You." He said, I did not retain the words, so I asked my mother about them and she told me during the time of Uthman.
