حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَمُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَا ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ صَالِحِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ الْمُصَلُّونَ؟ قَالَ «تَخْرُجُ بِسَيْفِكِ إِلَى الْحَرَّةِ فَتَضْرِبُهَا بِهِ ثُمَّ تَدْخُلُ بَيْتَكَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَكَ مَنِيَّةٌ قَاضِيَةٌ أَوْ يَدٌ خَاطِئَةٌ»

✧ I said: 'O Messenger of God, what should I do when the worshippers differ?' He said: 'Go out with your sword to the harrah and strike it with it. Then enter your house until a decree of death comes to you or an erring hand.'
