حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ

أَنَّ عُمَرَ اسْتَشَارَ النَّاسَ فِي الْجَنِينِ تَطْرَحُهُ الْمَرْأَةُ فَقَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ «قَضَى فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِغُرَّةٍ عَبْدٍ أَوْ وَلِيدَةٍ» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ إِنْ كُنْتَ صَادِقًا فَائْتِ بِأَحَدٍ يَشْهَدُ مَعَكَ فَشَهِدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَضَى بِهِ

Translation

✧ Umar consulted the people about the fetus that a woman miscarries. Al-Mughira said, “The Messenger of God ﷺ ruled in it a ghurra, a male or female slave.” Umar said, “If you are truthful, bring someone to testify with you.” Muhammad b.
