حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أبِي الْأَسْوَدِ

عَنْ عُرْوَةَ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَبُو مَرْثَدٍ الْغَنَوِيُّ حَلِيفُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ مَاتَ أَبُو مَرْثَدٍ سَنَةَ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتٍّ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً»

Translation

✧ From ‘Urwah, regarding the naming of those who witnessed Badr with the Messenger of God ﷺ: Abu Marthad al-Ghanawi, ally of Hamzah b. ‘Abd al-Muttalib. Abu Marthad died in the year twelve, at the age of sixty-six.
