حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أبِي مَعْشَرٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ دَخَلَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا أَبَا حَفْصٍ

حَدِّثْنَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا لَيْسَ فِيهِ اخْتِلَافٌ فَحَدَّثَ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا خَاضَ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ اسْتَشْفَعَ فِيهَا» قَالَ يَقُولُ لِأَصْحَابِهِ اسْتَشْفَعْنَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ

Translation

✧ "Narrate to us a hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in which there is no disagreement." So he narrated from Ka'b b. 'Ujrah that he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever visits a sick person wades in mercy, and when he sits with him, he is immersed in it." He said: He said to his companions: "We are immersed, if Allah wills."
