حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَائِشَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثنا أَبُو فَرْوَةَ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ لَقِيَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عُجْرَةَ فَقَالَ

أَلَا أُهْدِي لَكَ هَدِيَّةً؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى فَاهْدِهَا لِي قَالَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ عَلَّمَنَا كَيْفَ نُسَلِّمُ؟ قَالَ «قُولُوا اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ»

✧ "Shall I not give you a gift? I said yes, so he said give it to me. We said, O Messenger of Allah, how do we send blessings upon you, the people of the household, as Allah has taught us how to send peace? He said, Say: O Allah, send peace upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent peace upon Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious."
