حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَة

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَآهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ وَلَهُ وَفْرَةٌ وَبِأَصْلِ كُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ وَبِأَعْلَاهُ قَمْلَةٌ أَوْ صَؤَابٌ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَا لَأَذًى أَتَجِدُ نُسُكًا؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ «فَانْطَلِقْ أَوْجِزْهُ فَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينٍ بَيْنَ كُلِّ مِسْكِينَيْنِ صَاعٌ مِنْ تَمْرٍ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ saw him while he was in ihram and had flowing hair, and at the base of every hair and at its top there was a louse or a nit. He said, "This is indeed a harm. Can you find a sacrifice?" He said, "No." He said, "Then go and shave it. If you wish, fast three days, or feed six poor persons, with a sa' of dates between every two poor persons."
