حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْعُكْلِيُّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ مَا قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَحَبَّكُمْ إِلَيَّ وَأَقْرَبَكُمْ مِنِّي الَّذِي يَلْحَقُنِي عَلَى الْعَهْدِ الَّذِي فَارَقَنِي عَلَيْهِ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Indeed the most beloved of you to me and the closest of you to me is the one who meets me upon the covenant upon which he parted from me."
