حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَ أَحَدَ الثَّلَاثَةِ الَّذِينَ تِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَامَ خَطِيبًا فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لِلشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا يَوْمَ أُحِدٍ وَقَالَ «إِنَّكُمْ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ تَزِيدُونَ وَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ لَا يَزِيدُونَ وَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ عَيْبَتِي الَّتِي آوِي إِلَيْهَا فَأَكْرِمُوا كَرِيمَهُمْ وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ»

✧ From his father, who was one of the three whose repentance was accepted, that the Prophet ﷺ stood to give a sermon. He praised Allah, extolled Him, sought forgiveness for the martyrs who were killed on the day of Uhud, and said: 'O company of the Muhajirun, you are increasing, while the Ansar do not increase. Indeed the Ansar are my inner circle to whom I resort, so honor their noble ones and overlook their wrongdoers.'
