حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عَقِيلٍ وَرِشْدِينَ عَنْ عَقِيلٍ وَقُرَّةَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ كَعْبٍ قَالَ
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ» إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ بَدَأَ بِالْمَسْجِدِ فَسَبَّحَ فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَجَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ فَيَأْتِيهِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَيُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْهِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he arrived from a journey, would begin with the mosque, offer two rak'ahs of voluntary prayer in it, then give salutation and sit in his prayer place. Then the Muslims would come and greet him.
