حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا بِصِيَامِ الْبِيضِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ وَيَقُولُ «صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ أَوْ كَهَيْئَةِ صَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ» هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَهَمَ فِيهِ وَالصَّوَابُ حَدِيثُ هَمَّامٍ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, that he used to command us to fast the white nights: the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth, and he would say, “The fast of the age, or of the like of the fast of the age.” This is how Shuʿbah reported it from Anas, from ʿAbd al-Malik b. al-Minhal, from his father, and he erred in it; the correct version is the hadith of Hammām.
