حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

مَرَّ بِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ؟» فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ صَلَّيْتُ رَكْعَتَي الْفَجْرِ فَهُمَا هَاتَانِ فَسَكَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by me while I was praying two rakʿahs after the morning prayer, so he said: “What is this prayer?” I said: “I had not prayed the two rakʿahs of dawn, and these two are those.” The Messenger of God ﷺ remained silent.
