حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَسْتَمْسِكَ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ فَيَقْضِي عَنْهُ أَنْ أَحُجَّ عَنْهُ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «نَعَمْ»

✧ A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, my father is an old man who cannot hold himself steady on the camel; should I fulfill it for him by performing Hajj on his behalf?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Yes.'
