حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ الْحَوْطِيَّانِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ أَخْبَرَنِي بَقِيَّةُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الْكَلْبِيُّ عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي عِنْدَ اللهِ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَخَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّنَ وَإِنَّ آدَمَ لَمُنْجَدِلٌ فِي طِينَتِهِ وَسَأُحَدِّثُكُمْ تَأْوِيلَ ذَلِكَ دَعْوَةُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ دُعَاءُ {وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِنْهُمْ} وَبِشَارَةُ عِيسَى بْنِ مَرْيَمَ {وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِنْ بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ} وَرُؤْيَا أُمِّي رَأَتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا أَنَّهَا وَضَعَتْ نُورًا أَضَاءَتْ مِنْهُ قُصُورَ الشَّامِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “I am, with God in the Mother of the Book, the Seal of the Prophets, while Adam was still clay in his form. I will tell you its interpretation: the supplication of Abraham—the call, ‘And raise among them a Messenger from among themselves’—and the glad tidings of Jesus son of Mary, ‘And bringing good news of a Messenger who will come after me, whose name is Aḥmad,’ and the vision of my mother: she saw in her sleep that she gave birth to a light that illuminated from it the palaces of Syria.”
