حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبِرَكِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا مَيْسُورًا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَاعِدِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ وَصَلَاةُ النَّائِمِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَاعِدِ»

✧ He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he was a wealthy man, about the prayer of one sitting. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The prayer of one sitting is half of the prayer of one standing, and the prayer of one lying down is half of the prayer of one sitting.'
