حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُ أُمَّتِي الْقَرْنُ الَّذِي أَنَا فِيهِمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ قَوْمٌ يُسَمِّنُونَ وَيُحِبُّونَ السِّمَنَ وَيُعْطُونَ الشَّهَادَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوهَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The best of my Ummah is the generation in which I am, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there will come a people who fatten and love obesity, and who give testimony without being asked for it.'
