حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْحَدَّادُ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا يَاسِينُ الزَّيَّاتُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا فَتْحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَكَّةَ أَقَامَ بِهَا ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً يُصَلِّي بِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ إِلَّا الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «يَا أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ أَتِمُّوا صَلَاتَكُمْ فَإِنَّا قَوْمٌ سَفْرٌ»

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ conquered Makkah, he stayed there for eighteen nights praying with the people of Makkah two rak'ahs except for Maghrib. Then he would say: "O people of Makkah, complete your prayer, for we are a traveling people."
