حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ حَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ سِتَّةَ غِلْمَةٍ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ فَأَتَى فِيهِمُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «فَقَرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَقَرَعَ اثْنَانِ مِنْهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللَّذَيْنِ قَرَعَا وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً»

✧ A man freed six of his slave boys at his death. The Prophet ﷺ was brought concerning them. He cast lots among them, and two of them won. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ freed the two who won and re-enslaved four.
